Whilst most travel companies/agencies cover many different countries and/or areas of Greece and Crete , we at Villas Crete Holidays only work in the North West of Crete and we specialise in the Apokoranas region, just east of the historic Venetian town of Chania . The Apokoronas (including the villages of Almyrida , Kalives , Kokkino Horio , Plaka and Gavalohori ) has long been a popular destination for holiday makers seeking a typically Greek seaside resort area that has many amenities, but is far removed from brash tourism.
